These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Map Plotter mobile application ("Map Plotter", "the App", "we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Map Plotter is a free GPS-based field survey tool that lets you record roads, land features, and buildings, and export that data as CSV, Excel, or a cartographic map.png image. The App requires no account, login, or payment of any kind.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal or professional field survey purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or resell the App itself.

3. Your Data and Your Responsibility

All data you record — including GPS coordinates and any personal details of people or places you enter — is stored only on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of the data you record;
• Obtaining any consent or authorization needed before recording information about other people's property or personal details;
• Deciding whether, when, and with whom to share any data you export from the App — including GPS coordinates and other identifying or privacy-sensitive information. Once exported and shared, we have no ability to control, recall, or monitor that data.

You agree not to export and share data — particularly GPS coordinates or other identifying information — with any person or place without proper authorization and a legitimate reason for doing so.

4. Advertising

The App is free and supported by advertising served through Google AdMob, including ad cards in list views and a short video ad shown before an export. See our Privacy Policy for details on how this advertising works.

5. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that GPS readings, exported data, or the generated map.png will be perfectly accurate — GPS accuracy depends on your device, environment, and satellite conditions outside our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Map Plotter and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App, including — without limitation — any consequence, dispute, or damage resulting from how you export, use, or share data after it leaves the App. That responsibility rests entirely with you.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its name, branding, design, and underlying software, is the property of Map Plotter and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.

8. Changes to the App or These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
